Freshmen Caden Altizer and Landon Schneider combined to pitch a four-hit shutout as the Honaker Tigers blanked Northwood for a Hogoheegee District victory.
Altizer struck out nine in his four innings of work and also drove in three runs. Matt Nunley (2-for-3, three RBIs), Landon Schneider (2-for-2, two runs) and Brayden Hart (three runs, two stolen bases) also had notable performances for the Tigers.
Colt Stevenson went 2-for-2 with a double while Eli Williams and Andrew Huff had the other hits for the Panthers.
