Honaker 73, Chilhowie 23
Freshman Julianna Farmer had herself a night – 19 points, four steals – as the Honaker Tigers crushed Chilhowie to retain their first-place spot in the Hogoheegee District.
Senior post player Alayna McNulty had another strong showing with 13 points, six rebounds and two steals, while senior guard Kalli Miller flirted with a triple-double with 12 points, nine steals and seven assists.
Carey Keene’s 11 points and three steals were also vital to the blowout victory.

Chilhowie 78, Honaker 22
Will Goodwin went for 22 points and 10 rebounds as the Chilhowie Warriors hammered Honaker for a Hogoheegee District win.
Noah Hill (18 points, eight rebounds), Luke Mullinax (11 points) and Jayden Schwartz (11 points) all scored in double digits. Chilhowie led 30-9 after one quarter and 57-12 at halftime.
Silas Harris led Honaker with 12 points.
It was a rematch of last year’s Region 1D title game, which was one by Honaker. However, none of the current Tigers were on that team.
Chilhowie honored members of its previous state tournament qualifiers prior to the game.
