HONAKER — It’s been a topsy-turvy volleyball season for Honaker. There was another high note at A.P. Baldwin Gymnasium on Tuesday. The Tigers avenged an early season 3-1 loss at Holston with a 25-12, 25-22, 25-15 Hogoheegee District sweep of the Cavaliers.

“This district is tough, all the way around. Everyone is solid,” Honaker coach Misty Davis Miller said. “We have to show up ready to play and the girls did tonight. We had chemistry, the energy was there, we put the ball in play hard and that’s what it takes.”
