HONAKER, Va. – Honaker’s Aidan Lowe used a full-force approach to become one of the most productive football players in far Southwest Virginia.
The five-foot-10, 180-pound senior brings the same energy to the basketball court.
On Tuesday, Lowe delivered 12 points, steady defense and hustle as the Honaker Tigers downed the Chilhowie Warriors 52-42 in a Hogoheegee District game at Baldwin Gym.
Honaker (8-0, 14-4) clinched the district title with the win.
“That means a lot to me and my teammates, especially with it being our first year back in the district,” Lowe said.
Six-foot-eight senior Keyton Keene led the Tigers with 19 points and 14 rebounds, while Peyton Musick added 13 points.
Lowe did his damage on drives, both in the half-court in transition.
