Honaker 71, Holston 22
Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: Honaker’s Tailor Nolley made things happen in a variety of ways.
The senior showcased her versatile skillset once again on Tuesday via a 13-point, five-steal, four-assist, four-rebound stat line as the Tigers hammered Holston for a Hogoheegee District victory.
Honaker (9-3) also received an 11-point, 11-rebound performance from Kate Jessee, a 16-point outburst from Alayna McNulty and a 15-point, four-steal showing from Kalli Miller.
The Tigers led 22-2 after one quarter.
Kinsey Bradley had seven points for Holston.

A power outage left the scoreboard inoperable for Honaker’s Hogoheegee District boys basketball game at Holston on Tuesday night.
The Tigers themselves short-circuited for the game’s first eight minutes before putting Holston’s lights out.
Aidan Lowe led the way for Honaker with 15 points as the Tigers dominated the final three quarters. That came on the same day Lowe learned he had earned first-team honors on the all-state football squad as an all-purpose player.
Holston led 11-10 after one quarter, but Honaker closed the first half on a 20-3 run to seize control. Keyton Keene added 11 points in the win.
Colton Woodward had 11 of Holston’s 23 points.
