Jordan Stout has unleashed punts under the Friday night lights at “The Cliff” in Hurley, on a Saturday afternoon at the Big House in Michigan and many other venues large and small, famous and infamous.
On Sunday afternoon, he got his kicks in England.
The former Honaker High School and Penn State University star averaged 48.7 yards on three punts for the Baltimore Ravens in their 24-16 triumph over the Tennessee Titans at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
Stout’s best sequence came just before halftime as his high punt was muffed by Kyle Phillips of the Titans and recovered by Baltimore’s Del’Shawn Phillips with one second remaining.
Stout stayed on the field and was the holder as veteran kicker Justin Tucker knocked through a 29-yard field goal to extend Baltimore’s lead to 18-3 at halftime.
Stout held for six Tucker field goals and the only extra-point attempt he held for was blocked.
The second-year pro is averaging 47.5 yards on 28 punts.
